So with all the negative news on Medal of Honor: Warfighter swirling around the internet I checked out their Facebook and Twitter page to see if any Good news could be found. Like most gamers I bought this game day 1. So I really am hoping to see this game being fixed and eventually becoming the game we all hoped it to be.
***Updated***

So slowly but surely they are fixing the problems. One thing I must give them props for is the fixes are all server side. So maybe when we do see a patch coming on the console side it may not be as big. Also on the other end of the spectrum we see the big heads at EA taking the defensive front on the reviews the game been getting. Here is what he had to say.
On Medal of Honor, we’re disappointed with the critical reception,” EA Labels boss Frank Gibeau said to investors. ”Our internal testing and mock reviews indicated that the game is better than the actual score that we have right now, and we believe that it is.”
Gibeau realizes that some people just don’t like the game, but since this is such a large product for the company, he promises it will be supported well in the future.
“We are seeing some folks out there that just don’t like the game. We believe that it’s going to find an audience,” Gibeau said. “It’s been – had a good track record over the weekend in the UK. We’re going to continue to support the game going forward with marketing and additional content.”
We’re not sure what sort of new-age review science EA is involved in that makes the majority of media wrong, but hopefully, we can all have the luxury of its use in the future

What is very comforting is they will still support the game. Then from a well known analyst known as Pachter said a few things that I totally agree with. here is what he said.
“Warfighter’s review scores may have destroyed chances for sequels in the all-important first-person shooter segment of the market. We were surprised that review codes for the game were not distributed ahead of its release, and regret not seeing this as a red flag. We believe EA may have delayed the release of the review codes in order to minimize any negative buzz surrounding the game ahead of its launch, and we think that this strategy backfired, with low reviews “piling on” after the first few reviewers dared to criticize what sounds to us like an average game. We think that low review scores will impair EA’s (and the Medal of Honor brand’s) reputation with those who pre-ordered the game or bought it as soon as it was released (likely some of EA’s most dedicated customers), and believe EA alienated at least a small portion of these gamers. Perhaps more importantly, EA has made it clear that it intends to pass Activision’s Call of Duty in the first-person shooter category; given the impairment to the Medal of Honor brand, we think EA is unlikely to take Activision’s mantle as the leading developer of first-person shooters for several years.”
This series totally dropped the ball for taking the FPS mantle. So in great fashion we all know that in November 2013 Modern Warfare 4 will be dropping. In October 2013 Battlefield 4 will be dropping. So with Medal of Honor giving us a bad taste in our mouth we can only hope these two titans bring something fresh and new to the FPS series.
