Evolve is a new game developed by Turtle Rock Studios which brings a new flavor to Hunt or be Hunted gameplay. So the question on everyones mind is “Is it worth getting”
Since I don’t have the game and I been trolling the internet for reviews. Now we all know Destiny got me playing constantly and I know it don’t like me sharing space with another game but sometimes ya have to try something else. Don’t want to get burnt out…
So the first video is from Worth a Buy Channel on youtube. He made some very interesting points. Now mind you there is some obscene language in the video. He points out about the DLC for the game.
I am not a fan of DLC. I know Destiny did the same thing and it is basically holding back content from us then charging us for something that was in the game in the first place.
The next video is from the guys at IGN. They had a different perspective look at the game.
So many other sites having mixed reviews for this game. Check out the Meta Critic Score.
The thing that is killing the game is the DLC. I can see the potential in the game but how long will gamers suffer from being raped with DLC and Micro- transactions. None of my friends have this game. I was tempted to pick up the game but after hearing the amount of content that was taken out the game really turned me off.
So if you are sitting on the fence about this game I would recommend these things to you.
1. Be prepared to spend $$$$ for this game.
2. Have at least 3 friends willing to spend $$$$ with you to enjoy the full game.
3. Good internet connection.
If you are like me and won’t be getting his game because of the DLC whoring I ain’t mad at ya. These game publishers need to stop using us as a cash cow. Since I already paid for the DLC for Destiny I have no choice but to get my monies worth.
