Star Wars Rebels: Ghosts of Geonosis Review

This was a great two part episode to follow up on the movie Star Wars Rogue. They introduced a younger Saw Gerrera. Forest Whitaker made an occurring role to voice him which in my opinion gave his character a bit more weight than in the movie. Many tie-ins to the Star Wars lore were mentioned in this two part episode.

From Right to left. Star Wars The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Rogue One

Saw Gerrera isn’t like the Rebels. The tone set for him was noted very early. His tactics wasn’t pleasant. The crew realized this when he began torturing his “prisoner”. He was merciless and showed little empathy. This only cemented his role as an extremist. Something even the rebel alliance could not agree with.

What I found very interesting was when Saw was interrogating “Klik Klak” the geonosian he drew the Death Star on the ground and they thought it was the egg. It had me giggling like a school girl just seeing that. A thing like that is what makes Star Wars Rebel so juicy.

We also get to see Sabine using her Jetpack like a BOSS! It made Ezra so jealous that he wants a jetpack also. Shoot I would want one to. Seeing a younger version of Saw Gerrera and awesome imagery set in this episode is something long time Star Wars fans should watch.http://keit.staticweb.tk/yZb6G5dfgKGJ
